Services

We work in the following areas:

Financial Communications
& Transaction Support

We have supported PLCs in raising well in excess of £20bn on the equity and debt capital markets through primary and secondary offers, in addition to some of the most substantial debt raisings, rights issues and placings. We’re also proud to have advised our clients on some of the largest and most high-profile M&A transactions and corporate events in the UK and other international markets.

Our fully researched analyst and investor feedback comes as part of our comprehensive management of clients’ financial calendar engagement.

Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Engagement

The world is constantly changing and many businesses now operate under a level of scrutiny barely imaginable even a decade ago, be it from the media, regulators, politicians, pressure groups or, thanks to the power of social media, even their own customers.

Today’s leaders need advisers who understand the whole media landscape and can advise across multiple stakeholders. Our team has wide ranging contacts and exceptional experience of corporate campaigns, environmental, social and governance, stakeholder mapping and reputational management.

Issues Management
& Crisis Communication

Executive teams are increasingly judged by shareholders, the media, their customers and the public on how they handle unforeseen issues.

We believe the solution lies in a multi-track approach – meticulous planning and training, combined with calm advice under pressure, the value of experience and exceptional media instincts. Our team has successfully advised clients on major fast developing crises in a diverse range of sectors.

Public Affairs

The political and regulatory environment in which businesses operate and transact is moving faster than ever before. In the UK and Europe energy prices, net zero and geopolitical uncertainty means that it is crucial to understand the intentions of, and influences on, governments, regulators and legislative and regional actors and how the media interacts with them.

Our public affairs team has extensive UK and international political and regulatory experience, insights and knowledge. We help companies anticipate, plan for, and influence change and help identify threats and opportunities. We develop strategies that position our clients effectively, enable successful advocacy and help secure favourable political and regulatory outcomes.

ESG ADVISORY

We have extensive experience in building and developing ESG communications strategies for businesses across geographies and sectors.

Attitudes towards corporate responsibility have changed significantly in the last few years and businesses are now expected to have comprehensive and well-executed sustainability strategies that benefit society and create value. Today ESG disclosure is an essential part of companies’ communication to customers, investors and other stakeholders. We provide bespoke advice and communication plans that are evidence-based and measurable to help you communicate your ESG efforts effectively and in an authentic voice

Net Zero Commitment

TB Cardew has committed to reducing its carbon emissions, as part of the global effort to tackle the climate crisis.  We have started by measuring our impact in the areas where our carbon footprint mostly lies, i.e. in Scopes 2 and 3 (travel and office energy), and our ambition is to continue to measure and improve on our impact in the following areas:

  2. Promote public transport rather than private where possible.
  3. Consume responsibly, minimising the use of single-use plastics and the production of waste (e.g. cardboard, food, electronic equipment, mobile phones); using re-fillable water bottles; and recycling waste.
  4. Minimise energy usage in our London office, and monitor the green credentials of our suppliers.
  5. Use sustainable sources and local suppliers where possible for consumables.
